Tyler Rake, Bird Box, Spenser Confidential… Netflix has unveiled the 10 films that have been the most viewed on the streaming platform since its creation.
You could say that Netflix has become a blockbuster machine. As big productions follow one another on the streaming platform, Netflix has revealed the 10 most viewed films in its entire history, the Deadline site said on Monday, May 28. Latest box: Zack Snyder's zombie-based action film, Army of the Dead, which has just entered the rankings less than a month after its release. According to information released by Netflix, the most viewed film on the platform since its creation is the thriller Tyler Rake, directed by the Russo brothers (also behind Avengers: Endgame). Starring Chris Hemsworth, the feature film garnered an impressive 99 million viewers. In second place, we find the famous Bird Box directed by Susanne Bier, which features Sandra Bullock in a post-apocalyptic world. A film that has accumulated no less than 89 million views.
The rest of the ranking consists of action films Spenser Confidential (85 million views) and 6 Underground (83 million). If most of the feature films on the list are action blockbusters, the comedy Murder Mystery with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston still holds the 5th position, with 83 million views. For its part, the adventure film of young Millie Bobby Brown (who launched her career thanks to Stranger Things) is in 7th place, with around 76 million views.
