 In the second, the Pole got the two break points of the set, at 5-5, but the American saved them and won the tiebreak again 7-5, after leading 3-1 then trailing 5-4. The United States will therefore play in the final of this first edition of the United Cup! Madison Keys then brought Team USA the fourth point by defeating Magda Linette 6-4, 6-2, then mixed doubles Pegula-Fritz beat the Rosolska-Kubot pair 6-7, 6-4, 10-6. A mixed double for which Iga Swiatek forfeited, who suffers from the shoulder and also gave up the Adelaide tournament next week.
